A hip Turkish eatery on the fringes of the English Gardens
Inspiration for this eatery abutting the city’s famous English Gardens comes from the village in Anatolia where chef Ali Güngörmus grew up. Here, in his bright, modern dining room, modern decor blends seamlessly with relics from the chef's heritage, which includes a photograph of his grandfather hanging above the bar. Moderate oriental touches mesh with his finely balanced dishes (the aromas are business-lunch friendly), which include anything from lentil ragout with crispy zander sprinkled with walnuts or lightly charred scallops with corn, peanut and purple curry.
