Borgo San Jacopo

Fine Ponte Vecchio dining

Overlooking the Arno and Ponte Vecchio, an evening passed on the romantic candlelit balcony here is as tantalising a prospect as the menu signed by executive chef Peter Brunel. A driving force at the Ferragamo family-owned restaurant since 2014, his sophisticated, creative spin on traditional Italian flavours has garnered much praise, including a Michelin star. Come for Brunel’s potato spaghetti served with egg Zabaglione and Cinta Senese lard, but stay for the delectable desserts by the talented pastry chef Loretta Fanella.
