The best of Jersey in London’s Mayfair
Part of a greater refurbishment of the Flemings Mayfair hotel, this new outpost by chef Shaun Rankin sites diners in the dark wood-fuelled warmth of a 1920s-inspired dining room marked with leather banquette seating, glass tiles and bronze accents throughout. Sister restaurant to Rankin’s Ormer outpost in St Helier, the main city on Jersey, the menu here champions the best of the Channel Island’s produce – think oysters, hand-dived scallops, Jersey royal potatoes and hand-foraged coastal herbs – with game sourced from France reflecting the island’s Gallic adjacency.
