Café Boulud

Phenomenal French brasserie food with serious staying power

Reopened in 2015 after a floor-to-ceiling transformation, Café Boulud has gone from hotel restaurant anonymity to sleek French brasserie look with banquettes, Hermes herringbone wallpaper and a less fusty atmosphere under the helm of owner Daniel Boulud. The menu reflects his own upbringing in Lyon and dishes run the gauntlet of all the French classics from duck confit and hand cut steak to boudin blanc and a near legendary "Frenchie" burger with morbier cheese, dijon mustard, pork belly, tomato-onion compote and arugula on a black pepper bun with pommes frites.
