River Yacht Club
Seafood sundowner taking the city by storm
Pushing Miami River to the forefront of the city’s culinary offerings, the recently opened River Yacht Club – besides being a marina and club lounge, as the name suggests – is home to a wildly successful eatery that has garnered much acclaim since the Club’s February debut. Nurturing a creative gastronomy enabled through seasonal menus and put into practice by a rotating roster of chefs-in-residence – the first of which is Christopher Rendell of The Surf Lodge in Montauk, and Flinders Lane in New York – River Yacht Club’s card places a spring menu of light, seafood-driven dishes alongside staple “simply grilled” perennial fishes, meats a and raw bar. A leafy garden party ambience directly on the waterfront makes it a must visit in this historic area.
