Art and gastronomy meet in a project from Michael Anthony



In the new cultural hub on Gansevoort Street in the Meatpacking District, a Renzo Piano-designed building houses the latest project from the renowned Whitney Museum of American Art. If this has been created to feed the soul, then the man responsible for feeding the stomach is Michael Anthony of Gramercy Tavern fame, which he does along with chef de cuisine Suzanne Cupps, providing seasonally inspired menus, served in fittingly minimalist surrounds.
