Amanjena

Resort reflecting Morocco’s Moorish heritage

The Amanjena resort lies just outside of Marrakech, recently renovated with the addition of the new two-bedroom Maison Jardin suite that features seven-metre-high ceilings and over 570sq m of living space with a gorgeous garden courtyard. In addition to the many in-suite highlights (some rooms boast private heated pools), the resort encompasses two restaurants informed by Moroccan culinary traditions and local ingredients. Two new lounges for afternoon tea and more casual post-dinner cigars have opened within the resort. Located between the coast and the Atlas Mountains, Amanjena is next door to the medina of Essaouira, a Unesco World Heritage Site.
