Patek Philippe unveils two diamond filled Twenty~4 manchette quartz references for active women of the modern era

Sponsored by

Born in 1999, Patek Philippe’s Twenty~4 timepieces were conceived to accompany every moment of the modern woman’s life – for every hour of the day and night, at work, at home, at cocktail hour or Sunday brunch. Now, Patek’s expert horologists have renewed and revitalised the iconic range for women of the 2020s.

In the two new iterations the Roman numerals give way to the white gold applied Arabic numerals at the 12 and 6, and the diamond hour-markers have been replaced with applied trapeze-shaped hour markers also in 18k white gold – a new face that marks a welcome aesthetic deviation from the original 1999 model, though the new pieces do still adorn the original art-deco inspired manchette design.

The pieces come in two dial colour variations, sunburst blue and grey, with a colour gradation to black at the periphery, and the markers and white gold baton-style hands all don a luminous coating. For an opulent touch, the distinctive, medium-sized steel case (25.1 x 30 mm) is flanked with two rows of 18 Top Wesselton Pure diamonds (roughly half a carat in total), and, at the crown is Patek’s iconic Calatrava Cross. Powered by the Patek Philippe calibre E16 quart movement, Patek shows the same devotion to the workmanship’s mechanical movements as its attractive artistry.

For those familiar with the Patek Twenty~4 line, the new references 4910/1200A-001 and 4910/1200A-010 with Arabic numerals replace the previous references 4910/10A-001, 4910/10A-010, 4910/10A-011 and 4910/10A-012 with Roman numerals.

An additional note for those in Australia: J Farren-Price is the largest Patek Philippe retailer in the entire southern hemisphere, with a brand partnership spanning over 40 years. There is no better place to purchase the latest Patek offerings in store at J Farren-Price (80 Castlereagh St, Sydney, NSW 2000, Australia) - view the collection online.
