Helsinki’s first boutique hotel has been open for a decade now but shows no signs of losing its gloss. The bedrooms are, strangely for the usually taciturn Finnish mentality, categorised by emotions ranging from passion to desire to mystical with furnishings and colours to match. The location is a boon; right in the middle of the Design district and the ‘Best of Finland’ breakfast buffet will negate any need for lunch with its sumptuous array of herrings, breads, yoghurts and charcuterie.
