Tenuta San Guido: Sassicaia
Vineyard and nature reserve on the Tyrrhenian coast



The San Guido estate on the Tyrrhenian coast produces wine inspired by the flavour profile of aged Bordeaux; the use of Cabernet Sauvignon grapes and the rocky terrain of the vineyard site near Grosseto mimic the terrain and conditions of a Bordeaux vineyard. The estate is divided into vineyards planted up to 350 metres on the hills, horse stables with horse training grounds on the plain and the beautiful area of the Oasi di Bolgheri, a bird sanctuary and Italy’s first private nature reserve.
