Juan Hernández Daels

This designer uses superlative local raw materials to create feminine, delicate dresses

Argentina born and Belgium trained, Juan Hernández Daels’ star is skyrocketing. Based out of both countries, these days he’s a regular showing at Paris Fashion Week. As he also trained as a photographer, Hernández Daels has a huge capacity for detail. His most recent collection holds a strong hand in silk and chiffon; gunmetal, yellows, black and white form the SS15/16 palette. Feminine and masculine cuts fuse together in his women’s wearline, while organic textiles sourced from northern Argentina enhance the collection’s eco-rep.
